Our Men’s North West Kent Triples team played HSBC on Thursday 6 June at Russell Park.
One team had a really close game. Getting off to a good start winning the first two ends, they were losing 3-16 after 9 ends – the halfway stage. After winning on several ends with two ends to go they were still losing (14-19) then they scored a 3, then a tremendous 4, resulting in a 21-19 win.
The phrase, ‘It’s not over till its over’ springs to mind. Our second team were under pressure from the start, losing 12-28 against a strong team from HSBC who remains at the top of Division 6 with 20 points from their four matches.
